Seeking new ways to expand the dialogue regarding sustainability issues, Meta Sustainability has launched on Instagram at @MetaSustainability. The account spotlights shareable research and Reels from Meta and its partners, while also featuring climate creator content.
Meta Sustainability has worked with climate creators since 2021, beginning with the Climate Talks podcast, hosted by climate activist Sophia Li. In 2022, Meta partnered with Instagram creators to raise awareness of Meta’s Sustainability Report, while in March 2023, it hosted the first-ever Climate Talks Salon In New York City.
“Climate creators are influencing not only the climate conversation but climate action as well,” said Marlo Tablante, program manager, Meta Sustainability. “We love having the opportunity to help them do even more of what they do best.”
